CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist – A Shift (6AM – 2:30PM)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to set up/operate various Mill and/or Lathe jobs with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make offsets and necessary modifications and adjustments to ensure parts conform to necessary specifications and requirements.
  • High level performance in a fast-paced environment meeting with a mindset for both quality and productivity.
  • Read and understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints, work instructions and operation sheets.
  • Accurately verify and document dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gages, height gages, dial calipers, and optical comparators.
  • Troubleshoot and offer suggestions on how to resolve machining issues by collaborating with engineering on potential future changes.
  • Maintain 5S practices on machines and in work area
  • Cross training may be required to learn and perform other duties as necessary

 

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Technical school degree a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC lathe machining (Fanuc and HAAS controls)
  • High level performance in a fast-paced environment

 

Physical Limitations:

  • Bending, pulling, pushing, sitting, and reaching
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Standing for up to 8 hours per day

CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist – B Shift (2PM – 10:30PM)

Bonding/Sealing Technician

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Review blueprints/instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
  • Document details of work performed as required on work orders and travelers, including monitoring and recording material shelf life/ out life, lot number, and quantity used.
  • Prepare Monolithic graphite for sealing/bonding by benching, cleaning, and applying epoxies/cement per work instruction.
  • Smooth and clean surfaces of molds, using abrasives to remove imperfections without losing vacuum integrity.
  • Complete high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean working environment to consistently produce quality parts.
  • Mix, measure, and document compounds.
  • Adjust the temperature controls of ovens, and record heat cycles


Education, Experience and Skills:

 

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Manufacturing (Assembly/Machine Operation/Warehouse)
  • Epoxy application background preferred
  • Prepreg layup experience preferred
  • Basic PC Computer Skills and Shop Math Skills
  • Ability to reach, grab, pull, and stand for the entirety of the shift.

Inspector/Quality Technician

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform all general quality department inspections utilizing the equipment provided.
  • Perform all necessary documentation of inspection activities.
  • Assist production personnel with departmental inspections.
  • Issue, maintain, and retrieve all inspection equipment as needed.
  • Generate necessary reports regarding product inspections including final inspection reports, certificates of compliance, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Implement statistical process control tools and report as needed.
  • Lead Corrective Action teams as directed by the Quality Manager.
  • Advocate and execute job duties as stated in ETM’s Quality Management system.
  • Attend additional/continuing trade education as directed by Inspection Manager


Education, Experience, and Skills:

 

  • GED Equivalency
  • 2 years of advanced education-in-trade
  • 5 years of inspector technician experience
  • PCDIMIS, VeriSurf, and MS Excel knowledge
  • Forklift License
  • Detail-oriented team player with a positive work ethic
  • Desire to learn, understand, and succeed

Core Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and comprehend cut sheets
  • Saw cut monolithic graphite to a specific size
  • Maintain an appropriate inventory level of bandsaw blades
  • Work in a safe and organized manner

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • High School Diploma, technical school degree, or equivalent.
  • 3 years Saw Operator experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to set and operate bandsaws
